A Master

Today, Ms Su mentioned that to be a master, one has to put in 10, 000 hours worth of effort. Doing a little calculation, doing nothing but practice for 24 hours every day would take me about a year to become a master. 12 hours per day would take about 2.5 years to be a master. Imagine I practice guitar for less than 1 hour per day on the average. Even better, I stopped practice for the whole of last year and tune up my guitar to start again a week before. Guess how long it would take me to be a master? Would be better if I went back to piano huh? At least it would take a shorter time if I persist xD

Anyway, it was just a random thought. Hmm...speaking of random, I was thinking how short my attention span would be. Sometimes when I think of something, it would link to another thing that's completely not related to the actual thing and then it would link to yet another thought. It would go in this manner until I find myself musing about a thing completely off topic and wonder why I was thinking about it while I'm supposed to focus on something else. Heh, so I feel that I should do a little experiment. For the next 5 minutes I would type out whatever that happens to go through my brain and see what other thoughts are dragged in.

Here I go. Topic would be...Peanuts.
Ok, I'm gonna use purple my favourite colour. haha..see? i'm not even on the topic about peanuts anymore! It's 9.15pm now, At 9.20pm I would stop. Anyway, back to peanuts, had this word popped into my head while typing the post yesterday. Had wanted to put A levels would be peanuts...or at least walnuts at the end of the post but felt that it was too disregarding? Is it the right word to use? Anyway, peanuts, and walnuts. Dont know how walnuts came into being but it just did. Peanuts, something that elephants eat, and it does not have the same shape or taste like walnuts! Walnuts are so much nicer and peanuts? Peanuts are so common, eat too much and the throat would just go so dry. Hate it when it happens. Sheesh.

Haha...that was lame. Of course, what I had wanted to test is not that feasible. It's difficult to keep track of my thoughts and type down at the same time. The different kinds of thought just flash by so briefly, making snide remarks one moment and gone the next. Moreover, the wandering thoughts come into being when I need not be focused like typing things down...so yeah.

Ok, moving on. It's so rare that I would type 2 posts in a row. Yesterday and today. Anyway, I need back some of my audience to keep the tagboard not so dejected and unused =P
Was talking about guitar somewhere near the beginning of the post. Well, I'm proud to say that I can now play the intro to 彩虹 by jay Chou quite smoothly =] 3 days work haha. Even though it's just the intro, I'm still happy that it sounds alright and smooth. Working hard for rest of song!

Now I have run out of things to talk about. Gonna stop writing and go do some other stuff.

Start of school

Today school starts.

I feels as if I put a hold on almost everything relating to school and then, today I press that 'play' button again. On the surface, it felt like nothing had changed over the past few months since the end of my promos until today, but so much had been going on in the school. Life didnt cease to exist when I'm not going to school. Some teachers left the college, including our very own principal and VP, some friends were gone too. Retained, superannuated, graduated...disappeared. Indeed, it was quite a surprise when I enter school today and didnt see the familiar figure of JQ sitting at that table in canteen. haha...life goes on. Even the surroundings of the school had changed. IJC is preparing for the Open House on this wed, there were many posters hanging on the walls, fences outside the college, and along the staircases. Even the few flats that were still under construction next to our school had grown taller and more intimidating.

Let's go back to what was going through my mind today. The song 'what about now' by Daughtry kick start my day on the ipod, nice coincidence. Yeah, it IS time to think about what to do now, how to cope with year that would become very stressful later on. Not that I did not think about it, I had thought about what to do for the year, made some ingenious plans up and crossing my fingers that the plans would work and that I keep faithfully to what I planned to do. Guess it would be a true test, hopefully I would be posting again with pride that I did not fail to keep to my plans. Haha, being a disciplined girl would not sound like me since I love to procrastinate, but wonders do happen in fits and bursts according to my current mood. In simple english, when I have the determination and the right feel to do something. Pigs would fly, the sky would fall and Zona would not procrastinate at all for this year. Wonders do happen and pigs do fly, just take a look at 'airpork' XD

Yeaps, I have this feeling that I just wrote some gibberish or somethings that I would regret later...but I would worry about that later. Oh hell, Live For the Present, who knows what would happen the next day? As long as I believe in myself and not give up on the opportunities to make myself proud of myself (sounds weird lol), I'm quite sure that A levels wouldnt be any problem. =]

A new year

It's a New Year, a New Beginning.
Well, I'm sure there would be lots of things going on for this year.
A levels, graduation..not to mention that a certain somebody would be leaving to go US...
For last year, it seemed that everything had gone past in a flash, and now, here's the new year 2010.
There would be no joking around for this year, hah, I have to be serious in my studying and there's the nagging thing of having to prepare my portfolio for NMA. I wonder if I even have enough photos to make a good portfolio T.T
Anyway, besides all these, I made a promise to myself that I would post more regulary on my blog, at least once every 2 weeks? Well, I know I can somehow keep to my promise cos I made the decision of not going to read manga when I have get online haha (trying to behave like a normal human being for once). I didn't go read any manga since changing my blogskin and typing this post (see, I could do it xD)

Well, that's all for now, would be going to prepare to upload all those photos that I had taken while on holiday in China and maybe posting a new post about the holiday

Today...it's 20092009!
lolz...seriously now, i felt that I should post something on this special day.
ok...maybe I should write about what i did the whole day today.

Morning, I woke up...my nose was abit uncomfy...thought it was nothing, but i sorta get to know i had caught a cold later in the day...
I went for some facial treatment at 11am, something cropped up for my mum so I had to help her go for that appointment. 2nd time in my life going for facial! yay(?) hmm...i think my face is auite unblemished, not many pimples to squeeze, 3 or 4 i think...then...came the horror of horror. I REALLY HATE doing eyebrow shaping. even though i said eyebrow shaping, it's more like making my eyebrow 'tidier'...haha...i admit i didn't take any care of maintaing my eyebrow shape or tidy it after getting it done, like 1-2 years ago when i was preparing to go for my secondary school prom night...haha! I'm ONE LAZY BUM!
ok...reason i hate doing the eyebrow thing is because it's so PAINFUL when my eyebrow is being plucked!!! I can stand the pimple squeezing and all...but i can't stand the plucking...oh my god. It was super painful...

Luckily, I managed to not make any 'ouches' out loud, and it the eyebrow plucking was done in no time...

Next, I went to my 4th aunt's house to have lunch...and then...it's when I found out I had caught a cold. I had to stay close to the tissue papers, constantly blowing my nose. Even now, I still have to reach for a tissue now and then...later I'm gonna take some cold medicine then sleep.

BUT I have to account this thing down! Outside on the garden terrace, Montreal Green, there's an Indian Marriage going on...there was this disco thingie...they were blasting all sorts of Indian/Tamil and english music since 6pm till about 8pm...maybe pausing in between sometimes...it is so cooool...haha
hmm...they have stopped playing any music now though...

ok...that's all I think...gonna end this lame post here...haha...End of year exams coming so I would do my best to catch up in posting after my exams =]

18th birthday

yesh...its has been this long since i updated about what happened for my birthday =]

hahahas...actually, my birthday celebration has not technically ended as my dad has not celebrated me and my bro's birthday...so yea, haha

anyway, 3 apr is quite special, and on sat, 4apr, it was even better...

the first person to wish me 'happy birthday' via sms is kim...this girl super kiasu, at 11.55pm on thurs (2 apr), i recieved the message liaoz...haha! the first to wish me happy birthday face to face would be leonard...yea.

ok, so i went to sch...1st to gimme my present was yutian, a cute fake bun! it smells delicious haha...haresh, simin, and aaron are next, and yea, it was my name with a banana attached...

*zona banana...i get it already =.=*

then...comes the big surprise. the brave souls from 0811a...my darling friends...it was indeed a pleasant and memorable surprise...LOVE the huge card...i gonna hang it in my bedroom!

17 going on to 18

heyheyhey...today would be counted as the last day before i reach 18 years old!!
WOW. i definitely feel old. 17 years just flew past like that without me noticing...sighs...
However, during these 17 years, many changes have been made in my life, many more people imprint themselves in my memory bank and my heart.
Speaking of friends...i guess its time to send a big THANK YOU to all those friends, old and new who have been there for me in my life =]
firstly, let's talk about my new friends:
to this special group of people, thank you for befriending me...lolz...sky, yu tian, yuying, kenny, winston, aaron, michelle, nars, aniza, yang wei, lorayne, xian ngoh, agnes...argh, and the whole of 0911A...hahahas...u peeps are great =]
Secondly, a big thank you to my 'so near yet so far friends'. hahas...who are they exactly? these people are those whom i have known, but are either, not in the same class anymore, or not in the same school, or not living near me anymore, heck, some are even not in singapore anymore!! however, even though we are 'separated', we still keep in touch and some people i always talk with regularly. these great pals are:

today, my dad would be flying off to Poland...to work for a month plus...sigh. my family would really miss him =X
my dad said that it would be about 2 degrees celcius over there, how i wish i could go too! even though it's most likely not snowing, that place would be cold...hahahahas
anyway, after a spending a hectic time packing and buying all those winter wear, the packing was finally done just now...and now i bet he's almost reach the airport...
wells, even though we didnt get to go, at least we got something out of this. My mum get to buy a new scarf, and gloves. I got gloves and winter wear! woots~~ black jacket with fox fur...i absolutely LOVE it!! anw, my old winter wear most likely wont fit me, my bro didnt get to have new winter wear though...cause my mum says he's still growing, so no point buying winter wear for him if we're not going to go somewhere cold soon. so you just gotta wait till we're off to a cold country to get a new winter coat, bro! mwahahahaz...
come to think of it, my dad would be missing both mine and my bro's birthday celebration this time round. Guess we would be waiting for him to get back to celebrate =D

eyecandy

Wassup people!!
today, is a grand occasion...hahahas...its nothing really, just that i haven't seen an eyecandy in a LONG LONG while...so, i am darned happy =D
anyway, the story is like this...i went with aaron, simin and jeslyn to seoul garden to eat lunch, ate for around 2hrs, den we went home. i was quite unhappy cause my clothes and hair had all that oily fried thingy smell...anyways, i board the mrt at woodlands, and leaned against the place that's near the door there...closed my eyes and rested. when the train reached admiralty, i opened my eyes and see if anyone wants to alight...after checking that there was none, i closed my eyes again...just when the train is going to reach sembawang, i opened my eyes and prepare to alight the train....
...that's when the eyecandy appear!!!
hahahas...i looked at the area around me and noticed the eyecandy standing quite near me, at the pole there...when i meet his eyes, he was smiling...i think my expression is very bored or grumpy as i was still unhappy with how awful i smelled...which is a pity cause i missed the chance to smile, or at least create a more pleasant expression T.T
anyway, it was after i alighted the train that i noticed he is quite goodlooking and extremely cute =D he was still onboard the mrt when i alight, i tink...
so, moral of this story---> zona does admit there are goodlooking guys...AND they are not all necessary the bad boy type =] because, apparently this eyecandy has no piercings, dyed hair, spiked hair, tattoos whatsoever ^^
ooo, i forgot to state how this guy looks like. he's a...
ABC! and the kind that i like =] which means that he has black hair, fair smooth chinese-type skin (i did not notice any pimples too), with angmoh features!! hahahas...he around my age i tink...17, 18, 19...hmm...he also dressed quite neatly and his hair is like the neat but got style kind ^^
i guess u people would be wondering how i could tell and recall so much just after looking at him for less than a minute...i guess that he made quite a good impression on me, so much that i could recall the details =]
SO, to those people who say i'm only interested in those bad boy types (looking pointedly at kim, johnia, ruoting >.>) this is prove that i still consider good guys as goodlooking!
~btw, my mum was surprised when i told her i saw a 'shuai' guy the minute i got home...she say its (quote) 'the first time' i told her i saw a 'shuai guy'...do i really have that high a standard? i hope not >.<~

YES YES yesssssssssssssss!!!
My darling blogskin is finally done...also not exactly in that sense because there's a music console i wanted to put up, but cant find the html for it. nevertheless, im still quite happy with this 'Fruits Basket' themed blogskin...hehehe...
so, yea, i know, ALOT of people, esp johnia, has been waiting to see this new blogskin and had jest at me numerous times for not keeping my promise, but lastly. the end product is here and done...
whoohoo!!! i feel DAMN PROUD of myself...hahahaz...i am guessing that a new blogskin would not be replacing this current one in the near future, maybe i would make somemore anime-themed...but that still depends on my mood, and also how much patiene i could give to photoshop the pictures...as some of you know, i initially wanted to do the Gakuen Heaven in ham-ham form...but there's TOO MUCH to photoshop, so yea, it was left dangling there hahas...
ok, enough of me droning about this new theme...let's move on =]

i would really want to apologise to those who were waiting for any of the photos that i said i would put up, but had to put up, and also the videos...which are taking a long time to upload, so im putting that aside for awhile. meanwhile, i would have a treat for all of you, esp all those from innova, in the next post(hopefully), im gonna upload all those photos we had taken, or i had secretly taken while hanging out with all of my innovian friends...hmm, i also gonna put in the some pics of me, taken by ppl who use my handphone to take my picture =.="

On saturday, 20 dec, 3 days ago...the gang had a CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE!! hahahaz...the gang consisted of me, ruo ting, abilgail, kimberly, johnia, jun qiang, and lee ping. Before i continue, i would really like to say thank you to kim for hosting such a fun party and also to kim's parents who provided lots of delicious food ^^ oh, also sorry to all those who were waiting impatiently for these photos and videos...NOW, let the party begin ^^....

Firstly, i met kim, jq and abil at marsling mrt station. Then, she brought us to go eat...as we were going towards the coffeeshop, we saw this stall selling those lingerie, den we saw this huge panties that aunties wear and decided that we should buy it for johnia as the christmas exchange present haha! Of course, we did not do that...anyways, after lunch and spending quite a long while waiting at the bubble tea store, we reached kim's house. So, the 4 of us dunnoe wad to do...rt and john are coming in an hours time (around 1pm) and lp is coming at around 6pm. Finding nothing better to do, i used kim's laptop to post the previous post hahas...but then, it was still quite boring. After looking through kim's cd, i found barnyard animals...and TADA! we have something to watch, apparently, the cd was buried there for ages and kim has never watched it before =.=

After watching awhile, john arrived. Shortly afterr, rt also arrived, and after we finished watching, we started the board games session. Rt was supposed to bring her Game Of Life, but she cant find it, so she brought this stupid game called Mad Magazine. The person who loses all the money 1st, wins...lolz...there were places where we were supposed to pick the card and do what the cards say, some of it goes like this:

~place the card on your head and walk backwards around the table. If the card did not fall off before you get back to your seat, you lose $2000.

so...we really had fun with it, and here are the proofs! =]

The game took quite awhile to finished, and after that, we were hust in time to watch the chinese repeat drama at 4pm. At around 5pm, lp arrived for the 1st time, she's EARLY!! lolz...and we could start the exchange of our presents =]

Not long after exchanging our presents, we had to say goodbye to abil, who have to hurry home for dinner...the rest of us still stayed on and bully jq by making him wear some slutty clothes kim had already prepared. However, after much pleading, he only wore the most normal looking, if tight, black shirt lol! and lp forced him to let her paint his nails with shiny nail polish lol!!!

Happy 19th Birthday, Sharon!!!
hahahas...today, is Sharon's birthday, and as promised, i would now post all her birthday gifts which we had mailed over to her...=]
We (Royston and I) sent the gifts via post to sharon on 1st dec...and i'm not really sure if she had received it by now hahas...
met roy at around 1.30pm at sun plaza, followed him around while he tried to decide to buy what for sharon for almost 1.30 hours!! finally, near 3pm, he bought her the bdae gift...now left only the 2 cards and xmas gift he wanna give her...next time, i gonna wait till her buy all the gifts then meet him to send them over xDD

Alright! now i can resume writing posts le...hahahaz...last last week, i went for this adam khoo workshop. Damn, was it interesting!!
It was a 3 day workshop and well, the 1st and 3rd day was fun enough, but the 2nd day was very taxing on my body, mind...spirit, whatever. on the 2nd day, is how you call it, a 'Reflect upon your life and ask for forgiveness, and strive to change' day. Adam made all of us cry(i think), he made us reflect on what we had done had affected ourselves and those around us, oh yes...he talked about sperms having lifes. Hmm...seriously, i cant agree with him though, that all those sperms that had died and not fertilised the ovum were supposed to be those brothers and sisters who had died for us to lived. So, if that's is true, (and i dont mean to jest) then all guys are murderers!! they do err...ejaculate rite? those little sperms(lifes) wont get to be fertilised and would just die if the context that sperms are living beings...or something. Err...does it make sense? hahas...anyway, let's not talk about this anymore.
Let's see, during the workshop, we all learnt much more things that others who had not gone for this workshop would have guessed. Mainly, we learnt about lifeskills, most from Gary haha! He talked/advised about some relationship things and how to manage our time. He also taught us how to see what time we would be really tired next, after we had had our rests/naps/sleep!! Andrea taught us speed reading and mindmaps. Alll 3 days were not done in lecture style at all, they were engaging and interesting, so it was not sleepy at all and it was quite cool in all. Besides, with quite nice music played at intervals, what's there to complain? hahaha...
Well, having said all these, the workshop really helped me to study better and more efficiently =D which would really help, cos next year iw ould be retaining...haiz...I know, it's DAMN SAD...But there's nothing to do to help it, i could have studied harder for my bio and chem ehhs...? hahahas...Nevertheless, i shall work hard, starting now, and chiong all the way!!! lolz...seriously. Besides, the teachers did say that we the Pegasi, would have higher chances of scoring better in A levels, so there's the advantage. And a Pegasus is a winged horse, i have always wish to fly XD

with this, err...not very good news, i end this post, gonna go on to the next post, my holidays overseas!! woots =]

DEPRESSION

HAIzzz....there's this great feeling of drepression hanging over my head...hmm...it's gotta do with whats happening tomorrow...
Tomorrow...i seriously wish it would never come...wells, its self-fish of me to hope that way...just because im am afraid to see what kinda results i would get for my end-of-year exams(mid-course in my school's terms)...there's this nagging fear that i would get retained...i seriously hope that it would not be true. who would want to be the only one in class to retain? i would die of embarrassment...haiz
hmmm...let's see...if i were to retain, where would i go? this question must have been asked by alot of people who were studying for the eoy...but of course, if you work hard, there's no possibility of you retaining rites??
anywyas, if i were to retain, would i be staying in school? or would i opt for MI, where i could study in year 2, with people of my age...OR there's always the option to go to poly..hahahas...i dun even know where to go rite now...so, it is important for me NOT to retain!!!
hahas...i know...that's totally random-ness...hais...
oh wells...dontfeel like going down this gloomy road any further...it's like what they always say ritesz? ''what's done cannot be undone''
so, i just have to face whatever result that's im gonna face tml...and hope and wish and pray that it would be good news and that i would not retain...

080808= the day where we arrive at school with no need to study yay!! anw, i went to school extremely early cos my bro needs to go school early and everytime we would leave house together...wellz, reached school so early that the sky was not very bright yet. the canteen's light not on yet...sigh. nvm, i went to my usual table and den, shaalini came! lolz...she very early too cos her sis need to march in the ceremony...
anw, my whole class wore the Taurus shirt woots~~
for assembly, we had some assorted uniform groups that marched in with the Singapore flag(those were from CCAs that are well, the uniform groups) hahas...we sang the national anthem and we said the recollections. after that, we proceeded to the hall...whr the fun begins =]

my family went for a camping trip at east coast park...overnite 1 nite oli...we called my cousin, her family, my 4th aunt and uncle, 1st aunt and uncle, 2nd aunt and family...den we have our DIY bbq hahas...

it was so much more successful than my class bbq cos the food was cooked very quickly...seems that my dad's a much better at starting fire than us lolz...

anw, the food was delicious, esp the marinated chicken bought from NTUC, and the spicy taiwan sausage was great!!!

wellz, all my other relatives went back ard, and we slept in the tent...the tent was a 6-men tent cool rites?! and we feel asleep to ppl singing drunkenly at another tentage a short distance away from us...only their guitar strumming was nice...lolz...the ground was hard, but i manage to sleep...

as we quite near mac, the next morning's breakfast was mac, and i had delicious hotcakes woohoo~~! after breakfast, we go walk along the beach...pick seashells and watch some ppl fish. there's this guy that can fish withiut any fishing rod...he jus throw the nylon far out into the sea, when he feel got fish, he pull the line in and tadah---the fish!! super pro!!! wanna learn from him lolz...

we stayed there till 11am...den we started to unpitch the tent and clean up...then Home Sweet Home!!!

my dad, bro and i went to paris park...that fishing pond there for my dad's family day...

den so stupid lahs...reach there rain, whole day rain, and the whole place flooded -_-"

den when flood is so scary de lorz, the water level can reach my ankle de...den smmore, got the creepy crawlies in the grass that got washed out from beneath the grass. i saw lots of centipedes and spiders!! argh, the spiders climb up our chairs to get away from the water and it creep me out so badly that i complained i wanna go home immediately when we had reached there for jus 30 mins...

lolz...luckily the rain got smaler, and the fishing competition could go on. wad can i say? fishing takes real skill and my bait is always getting eaten by the fishes!! haizz....but it was a really good learning experience and it was really fun! =]

then, after the fishing competition, we had lunch and it was time to go home...even though it rained like siao for the whole morn, and we didn't catch any fish...we had fun, and yea, i was glad that i went there...but i wud be alot happier if my feet weren't so wet xp

yesh!!! it's the class BBQ again...and sharon came!! woohoo!!!

anw, this time round we didn't order any food from bbqwholesale cos we ordered too late liaoz...hahas, so we need to prepare food by ourselves. i would say we did quite a good job, mavis, anthea and me =D

mavis, antz and me met up at semb mrt, den we went to woodlands, civic centre's NTUC to shop...bought sausages, potato chips, fruit punch, drinking water, cheese, shitake mushroom, prawn balls, sotong balls and crabmeat. den mavis brought along this big huge black backpack and she said to put the 1.5 litres of drinking water in...we bought 9 bottles, and put 6 in, den we had the 3 bottles of fruit punch thrown into the bag too(they were 1 litre each)...lolz, the bag is so damn heavy lorz...i feel like climbing up a mountain when i jus carry it for less than 1 min...dunno how super mavis can manage it. ok, we took bus back to Khatib and went to ABC supermarket to buy chicken, satay sticks and margarine...all the other things like charcoal aloy and gang buy...

ok, we reached mavis' house and we started preparing the food, marinating the chicken and antz prepared her all-time-favourite prawn salad!! at ard 3pm, we all pack things up and head out...the stupid chicken kept leaking so we wrapped it up in 3 to 4 sheets of plastic bags...the rest of the guys and some girls are waiting for us at the busstop...so, chicken thrown to guys(dun wan our hands to smell like the marinating sauce), bottles of drinking water distributed evenly, and we're set to go!!..except cyrus is super late in turning up so we had to wait for him -_-

anw, we took bus 39 to pasir ris and took another and we finally reach our bbq pit at pasir ris park!!! that place quite ulu lorz...but we had a nice view of the clean beach and beautiful sea, the place oso not crowded amd got quite a number of cats lolz...the only sad thing was that the bicycle rental shop very far from the pit so we had to make do wid playing at the beach...which was fun too ^^

after the guys set up fire, its time to test out how good food preparation is...wellz...all things would be perfect if the fire was hot enough, and i still dunno why for the WHOLE bbq, the heat was like pathetic, food took a really LONG time to get cook...but the food was ok, shitake mushrooms wid cheese are delicious but the chicken was bland. Know why? --cos all the marinating sauce leaked out -_-'' mr tan oso came and the bbq was PERFECT!!

wellz...i really had to thank mavis for organising this bbq and aloy who actually agreed to help out (jkjk) and yea...evryone who turned up for the bbq...it was really fun =] btw, i tink nx tym, we wud jus prepare food by ourselves cos its so much cheaper and taste good too !!!

ytd, i had to for flag day...initially, i tot it would be boring...who knows, it turned out quite fun...

okay...i reached woodlands mrt station at ard 9.45am and waited for ruoting...aft that, we joined our class...the mrt station looked as if we were preparing for a gangfight!!!

next, we went to the collection station at the back of the mrt station, super long queues wid people waiting for their turns...aft finishing colecting the pamplet/brochures and the 'money bags', we decided to go cityhall to collect...lols when we reached thr, we saw this anderson guy ard finished collecting for flag day, and we hvn even started!!

anw, there were four of us, me, ruoting, kim, leeping, audrey, joanna, johnia, and jq.den 4 of us go near funan, the other 4 go suntec thr...we started collecting...den not many people donate lehs...haiz...so sad horz...anw, i was wid the grp who went to funan, hafway thru, me and joanna went in2 funan to rest, den saw thr got laptop exhibition...and the rest was history...we stopped collecting for flag day and we met up wid the others at raffles city mall for lunch aft that...saw this guy giving away blue helium balloons....and this was how the helium ballloon mania started!!!

initially, we have abt 5 balloons, den jq went to take another 5. joanna wanted 5 too...and she came back wid kim wid almost 10 more...on the way to the mrt station, we gave away quitye alot...so we took another 5 more from the guy!!! lols! we lyk helping advertise and give away for the guy lorz!!! anw, on the way, we gave away alot more ballons and another 2 balloons on the train...we had 20 over balloons, and ended up wid less than 10 balloons in the end...pro ritez? there would be some footages of silly 17 year old clowning around wid balloons...haiyo, seriously shameful...we hvn grow up yet!! whahahaz...

celebrated me and my bro's bdae on sat and sun...and today too...hahas...sat, my family went to the Thai Restuarant and eat, saw some stray cats while sitting thr...hahahas, the food was delicious by the way =] -->

on sunday...we went to take the DHL balloon, it goes up to about 40 storeys high, initially, when i saw it i thought it was lame and not very exciting...but when i really get to take the balloon, it was quite exhilarating and the view was breathtaking...=] -->

yoyoyoz!! im back...let's see, i went thru the exhausting but fun orientation and survived...and now im starting JC life proper!!

yesh...my orientation was named thus...As for Assyria. Per for Persian. Az for Aztec. Ca for Inca!!
and im....in the mighty Assyria Empire!!! my clan is Gawar!! woots~~on the 1st day of orientation, it was rly awkward coz nobody rly noes anybody...esp in the morn...i was soooo nervous when i walked into my new school!!! however, i was able to make some friends within my clan, Shalini, Qian Ru, Haresh, Llyod(my clan leader!), Stella...and many others =]
wells...the 2nd day we had mass dance and alot more games...and i was seriously tiring...the 3rd day we played this Photo De Nova, which is running ard the whole sch trying to take photos at the designated spots while completing some tasks...and i after lunch, i nid to go back home coz i have headache...soooo i missed out on that night's grand finale...a gig! anyways...Assyrian was champion, followed by Inca, then Persia, then Aztec...in the 1st season, Aztec was 1st and Assyria was the last...however...we managed to turn the tables next time round!! wells, i started JC life, attending lectures, hearing abt the upcoming tests...the start of this week. me, ant, claire and mavis went to weiming's hse...mavis met me at my hse 1st, we ate cheesecake and she replenish her body liquid lols!! no lahs, she rested for awhile and then we went out. hafway thru, we saw claire and antz, wait...i saw claire's red and white strips bag 1st den we saw them!! they got tired of waiting for us at the 167 busstop and decided to come looking for us themselves hahas...then, there was this BIG wind and we kinda sat down at the nearest table, u noe all those tables under the voiddeck? yeaps...the 4 of us plonked ourselves there and enjoyed the great wind...kinda lame, BUT the day was seriously HOT lor!!!
after sometime, we decided to go back to business and went to take bus...

its time for my class chalet remembering!! lols...i dont even noe what im toking abt...anw, my ex-class(4s3) had a class chalet on 21-22 jan at SAF changi chalet. we had an excellent time and the movie marathon we had thru out the nite was well...not scary for one thing and err, quite entertaining...bahs
the survivors of movie marathon= Cyrus, Anthea, Claire, Weiming and me. halfway thru amovie, abt 2 or 3 am in the morn, we had noises, banging on the back door, stones being thrown at the kitchen window...and dismissed them as cat making noises(we are too engrossed in the movie to bother abt such tings). ltr, 4 ppl appear, Nash, Manda, Azmyra and Georgina. they were unable to get the last train home and decided to cum bac to the chalet to spend the nite, they were the ones making noises to scare us...but it was so unsuccessfull tt they gave up. lols!! its rly fun and i hope tt we wud get to have another fun gathering lyk this next time(let's hope thr wud be a next time =))

Okay! done wid working, lemme talk abit abt my o level results!!! i recieved my o lvl results on 24 jan. hehes...i did not score rly tt well, but its an acceptable score. L1R5= 15. L1R4=12.
not bad ehhs..? anw, i decided to go Jc, and placed anderson, innova, and yishun for my jc choices, and ngee ann poly, singapore poly and temasek poly for the rest of my choices. our posting results are coming out on 19 Feb, cant wait for tt big day :)

sitting in the coach...sit. s'pore's immigration centre. back on coach. m'sia's immigration centre. back on coach. reach yong peng, go toilet. back on coach. den go toilet again. back on coach...all the while wid music blasting in my ears xp and my bro sleeping beside me...we reached putrajaya!!
we went to a seafood restaurant eat dinner, and took some scenic pics xp. finally, we reached our hotel Marriot Putrajaya Hotel !!!
go up to our room, 7 floor...go in and den BAMM!! the room so big and damn nice!! ahh~~~ the toilet oso soo big and nice =]

go have brekkie. go on coach again, to the horticulture park. reached the park and have a 2 hr treasure hunt...whoa...me, my bro, and my dad's collegue richard ran ard looking for ans...whole park so big...it was a great game...hehes...aft tt we had our lunch dere...den we go shopping...
reach the shopping centre, abt 3 storeys high...u wud nv guess whr we shop---> Carrefour!! -_-||| cant believe it...finished shopping and went back to hotel.
den, we got prepared to go for tt nite's d&d rmb tt stoopid pyjamas theme...? wells..some ppl do wear their Pjs there lols....the d&d was quite fun. we had games and all...

went for brekkie, den we went upstairs to pack our stuff....abt 10am, we were all gathered at the foyer...everybody took a picture and we went to board our coaches...we went to the F1 racing track...gonna play go-carts hahas...i didnt feel lyk playing so my dad and bro go play...dey got warm up wadwad de...den aft tt they have a race...each grp choose a racer and the race was on!!
a guy wearing pink shirt won lols...richard came in 4th...there were abt 10 racers haaz...aft the race...we board our coaches, den went to Port Dickson to have lunch. some ppl having a wedding lunch dere...FYI: in m'sia, ppl hv their wedding and they sing k-box de...so, we got ppl blasting songs out of the speakers...den dis uncle wanna sing one english song, he don even noe how to sing, damn! give me splitting headache oni zzz...anw, we cant even hear ourselves speak becos of the blasting songs...finally, we finished our lunch at the seafood restaurant and we went off....what a relieve it was lols...

hahaz...it was so tiring after i came back home from prom yesterday...slept at abt 2am XD

ok, let's recap...i went to hairdresser...in the end nv style...oni straighten -_-", i oso go spray...aft prom den care abt hair...so v rebond or highlight earlier. BUT nv fear...i gg to rebond and highlight orange soon xppp
anw...we went straight from hairdresser to antz's hse...wah, when she open the door we all like shock lorz. she don look like herself lolzzz...
we dress up and antz's mom help us make up=] thx a lot !!! aft that, antz's dad drove us to Parkview Holiday Inn whr our prom is held...hmm, no huge traffic jams on the way...thk goodness=]
when we reach the hotel, we saw A LOT OF PEOPLE in the lobby! hahaz...luckily most are not from our school de...they are from northland...lolz...they same day same place for prom as us...when i got out of the car...i quite shy liddat...so many people!! lolz...then ltr calm down and ok liao=]
we went to the second floor...whr our prom is to be held...and see so many people! everyone looks so good...some look really matured haha and some really cant recognise liaos...den, i saw zhangshou at the 'reception' table he fill up the form all the while complaining its so troublesome lolz...den, we made our way towards our table mates (sharon, yiling, tissany, shukai, peiying, wangni, and weijie) we oso saw melissa who's sitting wid us...our table is table 22. table 23 is manda, jiamin they all...
at abt 8pm den start...its finally food time !! hahaz...

it was finally de dae dat i was waiting so long for... BBQ !!!

hehex...me and royston we lyk fighting over antz comp...he wan maple, i wan download song...den actually sae go her hse at 10am...den in the end, become 9am...cos i sae i wan reach dere earlier...then roy oso sae wan...so yea, in the end we ended up at her hse at 9am...den i damn sleepy lor...cos not enugh sleep fromthe choir camp and all dat =]

den, i reach first...so, BLEAH! to royston...

anyways...after lyk 15 mins to 30 mins ltr...roy arrive...den he occupy the laptop...i take her comp...poor antz...>.<...

sianzzz...ant's mum proposed dat the guys go off in a taxi den her fren wud drive me and antz dere...reached CARPARK BOMB(carpark C4, C4 is bomb...)le...still nid wait for the guys to come...lol...the guys finally come and we carry the things to our pit, to find out dat dere got other ppl sitting...sianx, den one group of them still so thick-skin...dunnoe how to move away when dey see us come...when our catered food arrive, den dey move off...cos we gonna dump our food on their(our) table...

slowly...food arrive, drinks arrive...ppl arrive and the patry could be started...lol, we forgot to bring the most impt thing---> lighter...LOL! luckily minqi have...so, the bbq cud start...

after dat...we went cycling, minqi, weijie, xiangyun, wangni, jiamin and antz wet rollerblading...i go cycling...den my bike so high lor...the highest>.<...almos cant reach the ground la !

but cycle so fun lor...i very long nv cycle le...cos my bike spoil...hehex...hmm, dis time round i nv eat alot and yea, quite alotta food were left...but nvm...luckily we got ppl who cud take those food home=]

sambal stingray was excellent =]...so are those fishballs, chicken wings, satays...and marshmellows...

anyways...it was a very fun dae...we played...and in the end, dose dat went home ltr...all got wet(from seawater)...except for yongjun...

dis year's camp was quite nice...if not, abit disorganised...but i have faith with the committee dat dey wud improve and do much beta the nx time round...=]
our farewell partee was quite special...cos it was a concert and some other ppl not in choir were invited along...and den, for the 1st time dis year...nobody cried...NOBODY!!

haha...the last two daes had been very tiring for me...
on fri, went out wif a whole bunch of peeps to buy bbq stuff...11 of us in total(me, anthea, mavis, veronica, jiamin, royston, cyrus, yongjun, darren, aloy, weiming...) lolx...thx to royston who called darren(who called yongjun and aloy) and weiming(?) along...and jiamin who called veronica along...we have a big group of ppeps to help us carry the stuff ! =]
anyways...me and antz spent a hell lot of time, waiting ard...in the morn, we wait bout 15 mins for the boys...den 3 more still haven cum, den nid go find 'Sri Nada' lolx...aloy and yongjun waiting outside the barber shop(sri nada) for us...den dat shop beside xcraft...dunnoe how to say xcraft, say wad sri nada(and it's not even a shop! xp)
anyways...we were late and told the gurls (who were waiting for us at khatib mrt at 1pm) dat the time had been shift to 1.3opm...den when the whole gang reach khatib, we nid to wait for the 3 gurls...another 15 mins gone...when we see them, we den found out dat weiming is cuming over to khatib mrt to join us(and he was supposed to meet us at amk, at 1pm...but nvm...=])
antz and me counted how many trains came and went before the gurls arrive, 3 trains in all...
finally when everybody's here, we went to board the train...somehow or another, ppl cant move fast enugh and me, antz and mavis were left outside the train...train went rumbling off while we stood there in shock o.O...so, nid to wait for another train...lol, we boarded the next train and found the gang waiting for us...FINALLY WE REACHED AMK !!!
wellx...we went to amk's super big ntuc to buy our bbq stuff...have a hell lot of FUN !! =]
yea...it was really fun...but it was tiring too(royston fall asleep whenever we stop to rest or take bus xp...hehex)...den we went back to khatib to collect yiling's icebox from mavis...den we go to ABC to buy the rest of the stuff...and yea, marshmellows =)
den, aloy and cyrus left to catch some rock concert...and we moved on to our final destination---> ANTHEA'S HOUSE
yea, we dumped all the things at her hse(thx antz!!) and on the bbq dae itself, we wud take a taxi from her hse to east coast!!!
b4 we reach her hse, still nid to climb on 'small hill' and jiamin was the fastest^^

we oso went exploring anthea's hse and then i have to leave for tuition...the last time i heard from anthea...dey were playing some kinda puzzle...
it was so tiring dat half the time of my tuition, i was dozing off lol...and i kept getting scolded by my cousin^^

den the nx dae was just as tiring as the first...as most of u shud noe, it was FLAG DAY
well, we were helping the DISABLED PEOPLE ASSOCIATION...den i went to accompany yuanlin=]...went to yishun cc to collect tincans and stickers...den we march off for our mission...lolx...the yishun underpass was stuffed full wif other ppl doing the flag day thingie and we forget bout standing dere le...we went to amk hub(yea, again -_-" ...). dey gave us a choice of places to go to...yishun, semb, woodlands and amk...and we chose amk! =]
anyways...when we reached dere, oso got other ppl(from other sch) doing the flag dae thingie...yuanlin and i hung ard outside amk hub to collect donations for a while, den changed location...went near jubilee dere...the popular dere to collect...hehex...cant say dat singaporeans are very generous...but cant say that dere are oso kind souls ard =]
anyways...collect for about 3 hrs lyk dat and we went into mos burger to rest...aft a while, we oso see some boys(oso doing the flag day thingie) cum in to rest...lolx
anyways...me and yuanlin played wif my mp3 and her phone...we oso tested out my new backphones(clip-on earphones)...and slacked for one solid hour...by den, it was abt 4.15pm liaox...tiring man...nid to go back to collectin...but den, we perservere and abt 5pm lyk dat, we went back to amk hub..to go to dat bus interchange to take bus back to yishun..den, when we were about to enter the shopping centre, the security guards stopped us and told us dat we cant go in...lol!! we say we wanna take bus...den he say dat if we wanna go in, we nid to keep the tincans in our bags...hahahax...but we dun have space in our bags, so we went to take mrt le...
Sianzzz....nid to stand somemore...we reached yishun and did somemore of collecting donations at the bus interchange and at golden village...lolx...saw alotta ppl(indian ppl waiting at the cinema)...near 5.30pm lyk dat...we are done wif our joble...den, we went back to yishun cc...and yay!!! no more collecting hehehx...well, it was indeed quite an eye-opener for both of us...and i tink i learned someting bout how all this flag day thingie works...it was tiring...but it feels good, to be able to do some things for the less fortunate =]

okok...i haven updated for a long time, many tings happened...
let's start from the sunday...the whole day i was out and running about..hahax
from afternoon, we went down to lower seletar with my cousin and her hubby and their two kids(my niece and nephew!!!) near there got one KOON CONSTRUCTION...dunnoe do wad ting de...and we're supposed to meet wif my third aunt and her family...near the constrution site!!!
hahax, den we cant find them lor!!! wait so long...my cousin call them, den her hubby say dey invisible de...lol, their car oso transparent de...so cant see and find them...
somemore, my dat'invisible cousin' nick is ah koon...! LOL, his company(jkjk =])...den my cousin's hubby was grumbling dat his car(silver colour) was coated by so much dust...until can write on them...hahax...den he and my bro go try, and really can see!!! silver become yellow car...my cousin's car was white but when we see their car...its not yellow, but white!!! wah...miracle lor...=]
anyways, ltr they drove out to meet us and we went off to kranji...but dere got nth to see...so, aft a while, we went to east coast...
yea, u tinking we siao ritex? travel whole singapore...hahax...
we went east coast to fly kite and dunnoe how, one of our kites got stuck in the trees...cant get back...haix...my mom say next time i go back east coast bbq can go dere see if the kite drop down le ma...lol...after flying kites, it was very near to dinner time liaox...bout 7pm lyk dat...but den we cant find any place to eat, too many people...and guess wad? we went to marine south to eat steamboat!!! completed the whole singapore tour...lol
steamboat is very nice...so many ppl eat together...14 people...den eating all the delicious seafood *hehex* crab, prawns and all the mussels, clams dat dey lyk so much(but i dislike so much--teehee)...eat till so full...imagine, we spent bout 3 hours eating...hehex...by the time we finished is bout 10pm liaox...still got free ice-cream... *shuang =]* ...
BUT THEN, the next day is chinese o lvl...i siao ritex...hahax, luckily nv affect dat exam =]
YESTERDAY~~
i went wif my mum and bro to plaza singapura...
wah...go dere to fix her hp, den nid wait very long...den say motorola got new hp...krzr k3...i want!!! hehex...my mum say mebbe wud buy for me(keep fingers crossed ^^)
after we sent her phone for repair, we go shop!
she bought another pair of shoes and i bought a tee shirt...haix, got another shirt i oso lyk, but its design is faded dat kind and she say why buy a new shirt dat looks lyk an old shirt...it makes no sense to her...hahax...but nvm...den we walked somemore and yea, wilson yong the lego freak* xp * saw dat lego store and pestered my mum to buy a lego set for him...after wad seemed lyk eternity(and going in and out of the store 4 times, while he was deciding)...he got a creators set...
here comes the best part...i saw my ZEN STONE!!! dis baby is the new mp3 jus released by creative...woohoo!!! i love it! its lyk a pebble lor...and yea, dad has agreed to buy it for me* teehee *...he says dat its on the account of me doing well(?) for my midyear and yea, my current mp3 is opso going siao...so yes!!! im gonna own dat high-tech pebble!!!

on fri...aft our bio paper...went out wif wang ni, mavis, yiling, anthea, sharon to orchard...of cos, we went home first den go lolx...

went to far east...saw a dress, wanna bring my dad there to buy(hahax...dun wanna spend my own money ^^) i bought wad i had been looking for(very long)...it's a feather pen or quill pen as some would call it!!! woohoo!!! its so long bout 45cm so long...hahax, beautiful feather and it's a pheasant tail feather(an example of a pheasant feather can be viewed from the top)...

and then, sharon bought a white bag(wah...she wear all white dat day lor...), yiling bought a belt...den, wangni had to go off early...after a while, we went to heeren...

bought a ring(actually is three interlocked rings) and a small keychain(is for my friend but in the end, my bro wan...cos the mantou too cute...hahax) sharon oso buy a ring...and yes, its white...lolx i told sharon that she could sing ''all black" buy good charlotte, except that all the lyrics nid to be changed...lolx...

b4 we go speech day, i met up wif anthea...den we both went to new york pizza to have lunch while waiting for ben...which reminds me, i wanna kill him again!!!

haix...lolx, been a long long time since i last posted...
i very busy...with all these homework, studying for test...staying back after school for remidals or choir practice...
den still got the problem of drawing...hahax...
luckily for me/us (busy ppl), a chance of short 'holiday' is coming...the march holidays are dawning !!! of course, we wud still need to go back to school for supplimentary classes...hahahax...

tok to valerie,and she seemed ok...found out dat she's quite nice to tok to, and she seems relaxed...

mavis, yiling, peiying, shukai, anthea, sharon, bingxue, yuanlin, veronica and me...we go see her...den went home...lolx...

haix...sprained my ankle yesterdae...while execising in the morn...den the whole day whitecar(limping) ...so painful lor!!!
den my dad help massage...but still painful
at noon, it had became very swollen...den my 1st aunt helped me massage...hahax...den my 2nd uncle(mum's 2nd bro) helped me do something...denit became less swollen...but after dat, it was lyk so painful...i scared to walk...hahahax
my 3rd aunt saw den she help me massage...very lucky ehh? so many ppl helped me...very grateful to them, and touched... =D
at bout 8pm lyk dat, my parents brought me to see doctor...got mc for 3 days...so here i am, dun need to go to the superteens thingie....my ankle better le...so i think i tml can go...dun wanna missed out the programme...very curious to noe wat its all about...hahax...

saw the asian cup...and Singapore won again!!! =D

wah...i so busy till no time want to write...
on saturday...
aiwei, anthea and me went to bugis street to shop for chinese new year clothes, but we go dere nv buy anything...haix...me and anthea together sabo ai wei to buy a skirt...mwahahahax...nv saw a skirt dat aiwei want so we go to J8...
at juncton 8, we saw a cute skirt dat aiwei lyks...den anthea's and my mission of bullying aiwei to buy a skirt is done...MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAX !!!!
unfortunately, anthea needs to go home for tuition, so oni left me to accompany aiwei...i bought a pink polo tee(one dat i hv been searching for a long time) at seiyu and a black tee at 37 degrees...lolx...aiwei oso bought a pink tee at 37 degrees...we oso saw 2moro's 'concert' dere...not many fans dere...very ke lian...
den e best part comes...after we finished J8, we went on to angmo kio's newly built NTUC dere...e place was quite big, as claire had reccommanded dat dats a good place to shop, so we went to check it out...when we board the mrt, yiling, mavis and gloria(hunk =p) were in the same carriage!!! the were coming back from vivo...so qiao rite ??!!...den yiling and mavis come wif us to the huge NTUC, and gloria went for her piano lesson...
At the NTUC, not all the shops were opened...but we did have a fun time at browsing thru the shops...i saw a ?dress? made from jeans material...and i luv it!! however i did not buy coz i dunnoe if my parents lemme anot...so i wanna wait till day go see, den persuade them to buy...hahahax mavis oso lyk dat ?dress?...but oso did not buy...
after dat, i need to go home, so aiwei and me went home together...mavis and yiling were not going home yet, i tink dey wanna eat dinner together...

dats all the happy moments... =D

beginning of year so much hw and teachers stressing us...near to the o levels, i tink we all faint le...lolx
nth much to say...except dat nowadays keep raining and it's so cold!!!
i really hope dat it will snow >.< (teehee...)
unfortunately, it doesn't snow in singapore....
hope dat we would all not be too stress....^^

wah...really no time to do posting...so busy nowadays!!!
wat test la...den cca recruitment la...make me till so dizzy...hahahax...
got so much problems....

i just realised, after 3 years, now the 4th year liaozz...dat i didn't really have a friend like in primary school(do everything together, eat together...all that) yes, i do indeed have friends in school now dat are around me all the time...but not till now got one always by my side...hahahax...is like...erm...maybe is dat some of us good friends got separated or wat, i tink.
anyways...now i have grest friends all around me..i do not keep them, sticking them close, but not too close for them and maybe my comfort(?)...i tink dats a good way to have a friend, one who's dere with u, but also goes around making a wider circle of friendship...(",)

these two days, i am forever rushing about...helping the banner people...helping to prepare the sec 1 cca orientation...den end up going home MUCH MUCH LATER then i expected(and of course, getting scolded by my mum for coming home late without telling her i would be home much later then expected)...hahahax...
i can predict dat tml would be very very BUSY...becoz tml is dat cca orientation...den need go home late...but i dun tink will get scolded my mum ba...becoz already tell her i would be staying past 6...

this is the start of a new year...
its so fast...hahax...
made new friends, new goals, new habits, new lifestyle...so many things happened in 2006 so suddenly and so fast that its hard to believe it...
now, i have new year resolutions...

1) To be hardworking
2) To be more healthy
3) To be more attentive to the ones around me
4) To have more self control(over sweet things...hahax ^-^)
5) To achieve great things
6) To be more caring
7) To be more fun(??)
8) To finish watching my favourite animes!!!
9) To do things i wanna do on the spot and get them done quickly...
10) and last but not least, TO GET VERY GOOD 'O' LEVEL RESULTS!!!

i watched Death Note 2, Th e Last Name on 28 dec...the day it premires...hahahax...then only now got time to write about it...
quite alot of people die...L, Kira, Watari, Rem...and lots of other innocent ppl...
the movie was quite nice...but i still dun like Misa(i oso duno why...)hahax
then, the movie and the manga are abit different...L kill himself to prevent himself from dying under Rem's hands...or death note...or wateva...he counter-effect against the deathnote... , not Light kill him
Got one part L wear a mask to meet Light and he saw misa...the mask L wore was very Funny!!!
